Phone Connection pricing and billing
Activate your organization’s Phone Connection, then use prepaid credit for business texting, calls, and ongoing charges.
All prices below are in USD. Current customer rates, verified October 10, 2026. Phone Connection requires an active paid runClear plan; that subscription is separate.
Upfront activation

The $10 credit is included in the $49 purchase. The remaining $39 is the activation portion; it is not added to the prepaid balance. Activation does not guarantee messaging-registration approval.
Ongoing charges

One approved connection with one local number costs $6 per month before calling and texting usage. These charges use the same prepaid balance as messages and calls.
Texting and calling rates

For example, 100 one-segment outbound texts cost $2. A ten-minute call with two legs lasting the full ten minutes costs $0.5004 before display rounding.
Credit, top-ups, and transactions
The organization owner activates Phone Connection and purchases $25 or $50 top-ups in Settings → Billing. Each top-up adds the matching amount of prepaid credit. Configure your number and messaging registration separately in Settings → Phone Connection.
Available credit excludes amounts reserved for work in progress. New provider-costing activity pauses when the balance is exhausted. An outbound call normally reserves about $0.25 for five minutes on each of two legs; the final charge uses the actual reported seconds. A longer call can settle below zero, so top up before starting more paid activity.
Billing shows your available balance and recent transactions after activation or when existing credit history is available. An active account with $0 still shows its balance so you know a top-up is needed. Open View all for the full transaction history.
Complimentary pilot access remains usable under its existing entitlement. Paid activation adds the included credit and does not restart or change the current A2P review.
